BDC’s Research Development Officer wins “Making the Difference” award

Heartfelt congratulations to Pauline Dickes from the team at the BDC on her award – great recognition for years of hard work!

Chair of the BDC Board, Ian Graham praised Pauline for ‘carrying out her duties at the BDC to a level of excellence that stands as a role model to others’. In her time at the BDC, Pauline has made an outstanding impact on the team with her work refining and developing administration systems; positive approach to problem-solving; and dedication and support helping the team prepare major funding bids.

This Making the Difference award, organised by the University of York, recognises Pauline’s outstanding contributions and commitment to successful projects between our organisations.

BDC Director, Joe Ross, presented Pauline with her award at monthly team meeting – where we celebrated with copious amounts of home-made cakes. This was also Pauline’s last day with us as she heads into retirement to spend more time with her family and personal interests.

Well done from all of us at the BDC!
