Bio-innovation support for entrepreneurs throughout North-West Europe
BioBase4SME is a network of European bioeconomy experts offering professional innovation support services to SMEs and start-ups active in the bioeconomy.
With almost €6M in funding from the European Union the expert network is set up to help bioeconomy entrepreneurs through:
- Professional training
- Innovation biocamps
- Innovation vouchers worth up to €100.000
In Yorkshire we are working to support the BioBase4SME project with our colleagues at the University of York, BioVale and the NNFCC – for example through the Innovation Biocamps taking place from 23-28 July 2017.
The project partners include: AC3A (France); Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant (Belgium); CLIB2012 (Germany); Flanders Biobased Valley (Belgium); Materia Nova (Belgium); NNFCC (UK); REWIN (NL); TCBB Resource (Ireland); University of York (UK).
Find out more about the project as a whole in the video below and on the project website.
