Our global economy relies on fossil-fuel based products, but this toxic relationship pollutes our soils, oceans & air. The Biorenewables Development Centre was set up by the University of York to help overcome this pressing problem. We work with world-class scientists & industry to develop innovative products, processes or services related to renewable, biological resources. You will get to know how the BDC & BioVale are adding value to waste & using plants & microbes to produce clean energy, chemicals & food.

Be in awe of the fascinating discoveries and research across the UK – with nearly 600 events in more than 40 UK cities there’s sure to be something for you!
