Anna

Project and Communications Manager

Anna works as a Project and Communications Manager as part of the Business Development Unit.  Anna is a microbiologist by training. She holds MSc degree in Biotechnology from the University of Lodz in Poland and PhD degree from the University of East Anglia.

Anna spent several years as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Biology at the University of York. She worked on large multi-interdisciplinary research-led projects in collaboration with several national and international academic and industrial partners. During this time, she has gained great experience in science communication, project management and outreach activities.

Her role in the BDC includes managing and organising activities around the Newton Bhabha funded project, engaging with and supporting SMEs projects and communicating research across different stakeholders.
